Replace Windows with Linux = no Microsoft.NET. It was that sort of bloat that finally got me to jump to linux. When I ran windows and had to download some 50 meg monstrosity to do a simple job, it was like being led by some nitwit who was also mentally ill. Because hardware manufacturers often do not include drivers for linux, I can not use all the devices I could under windows, but the relief at using a rational OS is worth it.
