For some reason this hasn't been a problem with any older albums I have tried. I've seen similar issues documented on the manufacturer's customer support forums and I've contacted them requesting help, service or replacement but I have not yet received a reply.

It anything, this item has convinced me that I enjoy the experience and sound of vinyl enough that I will invest in a better turntable soon.
