I thought the instructions regarding balancing the arm were a bit vague and left a lot to my discretion regarding the counterweight resistance just feeling right and setting the scale to the correct point of my choosing! Also, I found that with my Intel iMac, I had to get the updated latest Audacity version to get it to work. I guess it is easier with the software for PCs, as it will record and then import directly into iTunes. But Audacity works fine and importing the files into iTunes is just another step.
