Bash history auto-complete is fantastic. I have the full version of Zeus Terminal and hope the developer keeps working. Biggest problem, poor url recognition. The regex or pattern for urls used gets easily confused especially when running reports that have value like “Average:5.0” Url parser runs after updates but clears the underline on scrolling. As a result I’m getting a lot of screen flashing as it finds and unfinds urls in the log files while I tail them.

Customizing the UI is not simple. I suggest looking at profiles on Ubunutu for ideas. It must be easy to select a solid color or background image and select tile, stretch, center, and transparency level. Auto complete from bash history works very well but only locally.

Developer should run a silent “cat ~/.bash_history” or whatever zsh or other shell is selected to build auto-complete commands or possibly watch the users commands typed and form a history based on most often typed. Currently auto complete is not helpful enough. It would be nice to have snippets like Sublime Text for common things so we can auto complete based on common things we run. Profiles are entirely missing. Developer please see iTerm2.

We must be able to have a profile so we can launch a remote host or specific command on the current host and open a terminal to that output. The white drop down on the title of the tab gets blurry. It should be optional. Add context menu -> change profile.

Example, if I am working on a machine and then I want to watch apache logs. Tail -f /var/log.

I want to quickly switch to a more solid background, light gray color and thin font for readability. Also, I need the font smaller so I can see the entire line without wrapping.

So I would want to quickly switch to that profile. No need to show the tabs if there is only one window open.

I can’t find how to turn this off.
