I have been trying to hook up my wireless card (on a desktop) so that I can access my wireless network, but unfortunately I am not sure whether the drivers are not compatible or if there is some other issue I am running into. To start, I installed the standard Vista 64 compatible drivers, as I figured those would work with my Windows 7 64 system. The system then complained that the drivers were not digitally signed, and that they needed to be digitally signed to work. So I downloaded a handy program to sign them myself, and figured that would remedy the situation. Well now when I install the drivers, the computer recognizes my device, with the proper name and everything, but there is an error code 10; 'This device cannot start. I have tried moving it to a different PCI slot, but I only have one other PCI slot available as I have my X-Fi installed into the other slot. This card worked just fine in Vista 64 with no problems.

I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on this error 'This device cannot start. (Code 10)' and what I can do to perhaps make it start. It seems with a signed driver, it is compatible and maybe not a driver issue because it shows it as a Marvell Libertas 802.11 b/g Wireless LAN Client Adapter #2.

Windows Xp Drivers For Android Phone

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the same card and I do have a similar problem: I just installed Windows 7 RC 64 bits edition, Windows Update installed 'compatible drivers' for my card, but oh surprise. I cannot use my wireless card either install the drivers that came with the installation CD. This card uses a Marvell Libertas 88w8835 chipset and I have to say, I've got problems also with Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 64 bits edition because of it. As you can see, we are not alone with this problem: We can only hope to see updated drivers for Windows 7 by the hand of Marvell, there's not a lot of solutions actually.
